My first steps in a healing profession began 27 years ago when I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Cleveland State University. Nursing,as a health profession, is both an art and science. And as a result, nursing can be found at many points along the healthcare spectrum, from bedside nursing care to patient education, research, and health and wellness programs. In my career, I’ve had the privilege to care for close to 5,000 patients and families! And I’m still counting. With my interest in integrative medicine, I enrolled in a massage therapy program and received an Associates Degree in Clinical Massage 2013.. My nursing experience affords me a solid understanding of a variety of physiological conditions and treatment protocols. While, massotherapy has allowed me the ability to a have a direct and positive effect on physiology via manipulation of the neuro-muscular and skeletal system. As nurses, we know the importance of therapeutic touch. It is the best of both worlds!
I am a member of American Holistic Nurses Association and American Massage Therapy Association. I am certified in BLS and ACLS and I’ve held previous certification as Rehabilitation Registered Nurse(CRRN). My specialties include Thai Yoga Massage, Myo-Skeletal Alignment, Aromatherapy and Reiki Second Degree. As a healer and health professional, I know it is important to maintain educational training. Currently, I’m training in Lomi Lomi-Hawaii’an style massage. I and so many others have benefited from the power of informed touch and so will you!! I look forward to working with you to meet your healthcare goals. Join me!
